Ron Watson - Musician, composer, arranger, engineer, performer, producer

Ron Watson is a seasoned musician from Metro-Detroit area. He had played in such places as the casinos, Fox Theater, Hart Plaza, metro clubs and other area festivals. As an independent musician, songwriter, arranger and producer Ron might be difficult and limiting to place in one particular genre. Maturing to his own musical style he was influenced by great guitar artists of the past, the likes of Grant, Wes, Benson, Matheny, Santana, Hendrix and Taylor. Yet, he steadily evolves and changes by melding the past and the current sounds.

He recently released his third CD “Change", a two-version single inspired by the roller-coaster ride of millions of families brought on by the present economic uncertainty of 2008. This folksy, rock tune - may have some political undertone - echoes the strong hopeful drumbeat of the "Obama - Biden" campaigns.

His second CD project, "...come to Light, the Aftermath 911", is dedicated to all the young men and women who had & are now serving on the frontlines of wars since the disastrous event of September 11. Inspired by the high emotions felt during these tragic events, the compositions were made in a wide range of musical styles: rock, blues, inspirational and folks. "...come to Light, the Aftermath 911" is a compilation in a storybook, an anthology of musical journey.

Ron released his maiden CD, "Up Close Pops", comprised of both jazzy, cool and up-beat originals plus cover tunes that remained the favorites to his digital fans worldwide. Ron Watson had been blessed as a guitarist musician and he loves sharing his blessings to all, expressed through his music he creates.
